OK lets start ^ _ ^ some important sentences and words to communicate with others Step 1 [i:d1f9c]english - german[/i:d1f9c] Hello. - Hallo. Good evening! - Guten Abend! Good morning! - Guten Morgen! Good afternoon! - Guten Tag! How are you? - Wie geht es dir? Iam fine. - Mir geht es gut. What's your name? - Wie heißt du? My name is... - Ich heiße.../Mein Name ist... How old are you? - Wie alt bist du? Iam ... years old. - Ich bin ... Jahre alt. Where do you come from? - Woher kommst du? I come from ... - Ich komme aus ... I am german - Ich bin Deutsche <-famale / Ich bin Deutscher <- male I am italien - Ich bin Italienerin (female) / Ich bin Italiener (male) I am american - Ich bin Amerikanerin (female) / Ich bin Amerikaner (male) I'am - Ich bin to be continued... some country names [i:d1f9c]english - german[/i:d1f9c] Italy - Italien Germany - Deutschland England - England (its the same, just the pronunciation is different) America - Amerika to be continued...if you want numbers in german Step one 1-10 [i:d1f9c]english - german[/i:d1f9c] one - eins two - zwei three - drei four - vier five - fünf six - sechs seven - sieben eight - acht nine - neun ten - zehn numbers in german Step two 11-20 eleven - elf twelve- zwölf thirteen - dreizehn fourteen - vierzehn fifteen - fünfzehn sixteen - sechzehn seventeen - siebzehn eighteen - achtzehn nineteen - neunzehn twenty - zwanzig numbers in german Step three 21-30 twenty-one - einundzwanzig twenty-two - zweiundzwanzig twenty-three - dreiundzwanzig twenty-four - fierundzwanzig twenty-five - fünfundzwanzig twenty-six - sechsundzwanzig twenty-seven - siebenundzwanzig twenty-eight - achtundzwanzig twenty-nine - neunundzwanzig thirty - dreißig to be continued... some other words [i:d1f9c]english - german[/i:d1f9c] and - und or - oder with - mit without - ohne Titolo: Re: You wanna learn a lil' bit german? Here we go!!! ^^ Inserito da: Kirei - Mercoledì 19 Settembre 2007, 19:04:26 Citazione di: "Shiho" one - eins Teacher teacher, I have a question!!! XD Sometimes I see "eine" for "one", it's the same? xDDDDDDDDDDD GAAAHH....iam a teacher xDD hihi kirei your getting an F just for fun xDDD no no..iam just kidding lol Yes,it is. But its just because of the grammer in german. Its because of the female and male thing. It is important to distinguish male and female to know what you mean. for example like this: Ich möchte [i:ce127]eine[/i:ce127] Barbie kaufen. <- the Barbie is female so we need to use the [i:ce127]e [/i:ce127]at the end of [i:ce127]eins[/i:ce127] <- instead the s we put a e at the end of ein (I want to buy a Barbie.) Ich möchte einen Ken kaufen. <- Ken is a male barbie xD maybe you know that...lol..and thats why we need to write now en at the end of [i:ce127]ein[/i:ce127] instead of the s (I want to buy a Ken) [i:ce127]Eins[/i:ce127] is the number but to say how many you want of what you have to [i:ce127]take care ot that femal and male thing[/i:ce127]. [i:ce127]Eins,einen,eine,einer[/i:ce127] is the [i:ce127]same meaning[/i:ce127] and the meaning is that [i:ce127]you want something just 1x[/i:ce127].Or that [i:ce127]there is something just 1x.[/i:ce127] To me its difficult to explain that but i hope you go a little bit of what i sayed ^ _ ^' If you really want to get that you have to take part in a real german course ^^'''' Titolo: Re: You wanna learn a lil' bit german? Here we go!!! ^^ Inserito da: Kirei - Mercoledì 19 Settembre 2007, 20:06:50 Reading this I remember that someone told me that german is like latin: you have declinations like latin, isn't it?
